Even if you are not staying with us you can
take part in our wonderful Marine Nature Tour which departs
from the hostel each morning at 9am.
 The
coastline around Le Bons Bay is abundant with wildlife,
including the Hector Dolphin-the worlds rarest, penguins
(Yellow eyed and White Flippered), seals and a wide
variety of marine bird life. The scenery around the
coastline is wild, untouched and stunningly beautiful-
with huge seacliffs, pinnacles and sea caves to explore.
Our 6 metre boat is ideally designed to view
the wildlife. As well as there being just a few other people
( max 8 per trip), there are no other boats- just solitude
and scenery. Add to this a price of just $35 per person- about
half of any other boat tour- and we feel confident that this
trip is the best value in the country. The trip lasts about
2 hours and is available to anyone, even if you are not staying
